Salt Pan. White heat, pale water and the stillness of the West Coast at noon.
Nomsa Dlamini spent last winter photographing the salt pans near Velddrif: cracked white crusts, shallow water the colour of glass, and the people who work there in loose cotton against the sun. Every piece in Salt Pan is cut from natural fibre, dyed in Woodstock and finished by hand in our Kloof Street atelier.
